Hi All,
I had some time to burn yesterday morning so put together a 6mm scale Martian Tripod for the hell of it! This was just building a war game accessory it's not meant to be a fine model in anyway!
Parts were: the top of a dishwashing liquid bottle, a google eye, some coat hanger wire, a couple of small split pins, some 1mm plastic styrene...total cost just about zip.

Assembled in about 15 minutes...

A quick zap of spray can 'aluminum' and then some detailing, later when dry the Martian Tripod decided to tackle some of my GHQ WWII French infantry!

Cheers!

Beautiful - lovely scratch-building.

Now I need a 1/300 HMS Thunderchild. :)
Nicely done, I love creative modeling like this.

I remember when I thought the larger squeeze bottle tops would make interesting Eldar building for Space Marine/Epic.
That is just brilliant, I have to say! :-*

I love what you have created.
Scratch building artist: I think I'll begin with a few wire bits and chips; a visit to the hardware aisle; then over to cake decorations, maybe swing by the aquarium area for something or other.
Complete and marvelous.
