Hi all,
The British Heavy Cavalry brigade under Major General Henry Fane at Talavera is complete with the addition of the 3rd Dragoon Guards.

Brigaded with the 4th Dragoons, the two regiments had opposed each other in an earlier conflict, but found themselves united during Wellesley's first campaign into Spain.

Lovely work, and I am very much looking forward to seeing the battle itself eventually played out.

Very, very nice indeed. I'm just about to start my Napoleonic project and this is just the kind of inspiration I need.

Another great looking unit and completed so soon.
All I managed was a bit of flocking since you posted the last unit !

Thank you all for the comments, much appreciated.
Plutarch64, yes you and me together. It's one thing putting the collection together to fight something like Talavera, it's something else when it comes to doing it and the game planning involved. I am really appreciating the enjoyable problem, that wargamers don't behave like generals. If you give a wargamer something shinney to play with they are very likely not going to keep it in reserve but just use it to see what it will do!
gustav, don't beat yourself up, developing a painting habit takes time and commitment. The good news is anybody can do it.
With the last of the donkey wallopers done, the project moves back to the infantry with a lot of French and Spanish to come.
Cheers

XD "Donkey Wallopers", indeed. I think the foot-sloggers are simply jealous. *sniffs*
XD, yes, I fancy myself a dashing Officer of Horse.
