Title: Zombicide - best primer and adhesive for figures?

Hi - the title just about says it all but I was just wondering which sort of primer to use as I'm not sure what kind of plastic they're made from.  

Standard acrylic spray or enamel maybe?

The figures are PVC.  I can't say whether it's the best or not, but I've used Army Painter brand primer on all of mine and it's worked out great for me.  I haven't had any issues with paint coming loose or loss of detail.  I tend to use three light coats. 

I would suggest fixing any warping issues before you prime though.

Thanks for the timely advice rwwin, I've just finished cleaning up the first batch of five figures and they're ready to spray.

I haven't as yet come across any warpage but if I do can the figures be bent back into place at all?

Yup, it's the one saving grace of PVC.  Dip the figure in a glass of hot (not boiling) water until soft, bend back to the intened shape and then dip in a glass of ice water until it cools.  Typically it takes longer to heat the water than shape the minis.

I also did this with some of the zeds (arms  Heads) to get some more varried poses.

Wouldn't call it exactly grace. Had to do it with the Sedition Wars figures and IMO there was a loss of detail (one of the big monsters needed several hot baths...)

I've primed several with tamiya rattlecan flat grey primer (fine), and works great.

Wouldn't you know it but I've just come across some figures with warped bases and so I've followed your advice and given them the hot water treatment and it works just fine - took a couple or three go's though.

Next up is to see if I can do some head swaps and re-position some arms so I'm on the hunt for a good PVC glue.
