Guys,
I have been bitten by the steampunk bug. Episodes of Ripper Street and Penny Dreadful started it. Recently I have been playing a few games of IHMN with Matiec and his enormous terrain collection. Now it's time to get my own company together. Here's the first. By day, Jade is a waitress in the Silver Moon cafe and rest house in the backstreets of Whitehaven, by night she serves the Silver Serpent.

There's a little more blurb on my blog (http://paintsngluenrocknroll.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Steampunk). A word of warning, this is a painting project for me, I want to take my time with these figures, so don't expect too much too soon.

Well, it's definitely via the slow boat from China, but here's a little update, the first three members of the Silver Serpent, all from the Malifaux Oiran boxset. Left to right: Lotus, Rose and Jade.

Not a huge fan of the hyper-attenuated Malifaux figure style, but your paintwork is lovely :)
-
Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated. And thanks to the Captain, I now know what attenuated means. I get what you are saying, I have a similar dislike for overly chunky sculpting.
The next set are not quite as slender, metal to boot, there's something for everyone in this hobby. :)

Superb! Love the details...especially on the kimono.

Top notch stuff! :-*
