I bought one of the model kits right at the release of the Imperial Knight kit in March 2014.
I assembled it pretty fast but then it somehow ended in the “to Paint Queue”.
Now after 15 month I finally got the model finished.
So behold “Ixion” venerable Knight Paladin of House Hermetika.

I used transfers of the original kit and some Forge World sheets, the heraldry on the Ion shield is partly freehand painted (the flames) as is the Hermetika H symbol on the right shoulder.
And finally a group shot with some more Mechanicus minis:

As usual more on my website: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/adeptus_mechanicus.html

Very impressive.

"Many machines on Ix. New machines..."
Lovely, just lovely. I am particularly impressed by the smooth richness of the reds contrasted to the smooth shinyness of the gold/brass areas.
-
Seriously smooth.
Love it!
:-* :-*
-
Wow, nice job on the gold.
-
Thanks folks, I used mostly the new GW/ Citadel colours on the Knight, worked fine!
-
Wow. Superb!
-
"Many machines on Ix. New machines..."
"Better than those on Richese" :D My first though too.
Beautiful job Agis!
-
Very nice. Very smooth paint job.
But the technically the weaponry makes it a Knight Errant, not a Paladin. :P

Wot 'e said. :) Also, aye! That's why 'Ixian' seemed familiar. :D
-
Nicely done. As always.
Almost makes me want to play 40K. Almost.
-
Lovely work.

Thanks again folks!

Damn, you are right... (Blush!) ;)
Almost makes me want to play 40K. Almost.
Bah, who needs 40K for this, ViDe Future Combat covers that one nicely...
:)

For all who want to use the Knight in games of ViDe:
Giant Combat Mecha – 500 points
Name: Giant Combat Mecha
Facing Critical Hit Save Special
Size: 5 F/S/R 12+ 9+ 3+ Night Vision, Radio, Walker
Structure Points: 5 Move: Walker/6”
To represent the Reaper Chainsword I choose the CC Upgrade for + 60 pts
Together withe Devastating rule it will roll 5x D10+4 plus Re-Roll vs Infantry - ouch!
Heavy Stubber = Kinetic Pulse Gun for +60 pts
Thermal Cannon = Medium Microwave Gun for +95 pts
All in all a rock solid walker 715 pts! ;) ;) ;D
-
Very nicely painted :)
It is good to see a few variations of colour on the understructure rather than just plain gun-metal too.
-
That's lovely. Makes mine look very plain indeed, really nice.

Edit:
I wonder if anyone has thought of using one of these in Epic as Warlord proxy?
-
Too big, even for truescale* warlord titans, if that kind of thing matters to you. Could make a decent truescale imperator titan, though. I've been keeping an eye on ebay for warden kits, going for slightly less silly money, for that purpose.
Edit: This guy started (http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?p=520164#p520164). Don't know if he ever finished.
*I know that term might bring some people out in a rash, but word is that GW made titans about a third smaller than their own scale measurements, for some reason. Some diehard Epic fans made bigger versions for themselves. Some of them can be seen in Agis' own gallery, there.
-
It would look pretty though!! :)
-
Hmm, very interesting; an Imperator Titan based on a Knight!
-
Great paint!
tt43.

Sorry, post deleted. The imperator was mentioned above.
