Title: Why am I suddenly no longer seeing new replies or unread posts?

Got new computers and I know there is some setting or other that's different on this one; suddenly I do not see unread posts or new replies to my posts listed.  I think I'm accepting (and retaining) cookies from here since I stay logged in, but those two links up in the left corner stay stubbornly empty.  What am I missing, guys?  How do I make those things come back?

No idea myself. I go in and check both 'unread since last visit' and 'new replies to own posts' every time I visit. The former occasionally show none but suggest to look at all unread posts. No idea why. The latter....well...most people ignore my posts anyway  :D
