Title: Deunan Knute?

So, after seeing a particular new-release from Infinity, I thought I'd have a crack at modelling the protagonists from Appleseed.

Only, I'm coming up stumps for a suitable Deunan. Anyone got any ideas?

Ground Zero Games makes two versions of their Deunan and Braireos lookalikes, but tehy are 25mm rather than 28mm:

Take a look at the Aurora line from Victory Force. There are some nice Appleseed style figures in there.

I know they do - I've been using the version with Deunan on Bri's shoulder for years as the leader of my Necromunda gang. Since infinity are doing a possible Bri' i thought I'd 'update' the pair with some nice new figures.

The landmate is very nice, but the infantry figures look a little 'ropey' to my eye. Not sure they'd pass put next to Infinity figures.

I could do with a nice landmate though...

I'd suggest that Hasslefree or Infinity (maybe the older Ariadna sculpts which had a similar body armour style) might be a good source for a suitable Deunan.

As for the GZG... Well, yet again, with no pictures it's impossible to tell whether anyone would want the model or not. :-X

I have no idea how in this day and age a minis maker can't be bothered to have photos up of their minis.

Nice pj on that fig. And seems like the perfect proxy too.
