Title: Finished Painting "Dragons Don't Share" Tower Ruins.
Post by: eilif on 19 June 2015, 08:29:11 PM
I took a break from my previous sci-fi projects and delved back into fantasy...

Recently my friend gave me the terrain pieces from the Reaper "Dragons Don't Share" set.
Despite a couple minor flaws, this is a very impressive terrain set that paints up a treat and by virtue of being sectioned should prove quite versatile. Full pics and review here:

The terrain & minis look WONDERFUL, AND work BEAUTIFULLY together. GREAT WORK!

Great paint job.  That is a color for stone that I have really struggled to get right.  I'd love to hear your recipe if you don't mind.

Defnalla,
Thank you sir.  Your enthusiasm is contagious!

Richybee,
Fish tank items can be great scenery and they come pre-painted! I haven't found many that are cheaper than I would make myself, but a shop we sometimes game at has some awesome Greco/Atlantean ruin pieces that I really like.

Gallahad,
Thanks for the kudos, You'll be pleased to hear that the full recipe and method are laid out in the blog post.
