Four packs of mid-war Fallschirmjäger, some medics and a seated Sdkfz7 crew :

They look great.

I hope they will match with my Foundry germans.

Even better will they match with Foundry FJ's?
Same sculptors several years apart

In the aforementioned FB comments the Perrys are asked if these new minis will match Foundry and reply:

I haven't checked the size comparison but i'd imagine these would be a little taller but less chunky.

Which might matter to some and be irrelevant to others, though of course neither extreme is right or wrong.

Absolutely lovely.  Like the poses.  I have an urge to get these - flashbacks to my 1:32 Airfix models (without the silly poses).

So, are 'Mid-War FJ' suitable for Crete?

That's what I intend to use them for. Good stuff with a nice variety of poses. Any MG34s though?

The tanks are Blitzkrieg models, so technically not Perry models although Perry Miniatures sell them as well.

So, being very weak at stopping myself from purchasing perry stuff, I would not like to get some of these, but as I will, when can they be used for and is there any pointers for the uniform for me as I really dont know much about ww2, I have the Perry desert rats and Italians and thats as far as it goes. Can the Germans be used for italy as I have always wanted to collect forces for that

Yes, the German paras were in Italy* check out Monte Cassino where they occupied/defended the Abbey after it had been destroyed by the Allies. The LMG crews all have MG34, which IIRC is right for Africa and Sicilly but there'd also have been some MG42s by the time of Monte Cassino (perhaps someone better informed could advise).  :)

*I shall be using them for Siciliy
