Hi Mates,
I'm totally stumped. I'm looking for a picture of the old WHFRP magazine ad of the chaos warrior with the warhammer crushing a skull. I thought his name was something Elvenbane or some sort...but I just cant recall. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Are you thinking Harry the Hammer?

No, but it got me to where I wanted :D He's 'Uthmog Elvenblade'.
Thanks Mate!! :D

I look back on early WH with a lot of fondness. Back then Games Workshop bought a smile to my face - I was unemployed and missing some of my mates and a letter arrived, quite thick. I thought it was from the DHSS.....but it was a free copy of a WH army list booklet. That was the one with Air Dressair wielding Stylinkome and all the madly named characters. And they sent a Xmas card, maybe a free figure. I think it was because I'd bought WH very early and a few mail orders, so was on a list. Credit where it's due, it was good marketing and by luck arrived just when I needed it.
And back on topic.....those names were great, is there a central resource somewhere?

Look through the old catalogue pages on Stuff of Legends.
That should bring back some memories.

There's a miniature from him aswell, from the pre-slotta era ( have it, don't sell it, sorry ;) )

Thanks everyone! That's him on the cover! I have the mini as well, I just really like the colors they used and wanted to stay faithful.

I have the mini too - won it by fluke on ebay. Everyone else must have been asleep.
I though he was Harry the Hammer!
Iirc that army list booklet was the book of battalions.

You were right first time. It's Uthmog Elvenbane. Often misquoted from a misprinted ad as Elvenblade, just as the dwarves from the old Bryan Ansell set get mixed up.

halcyon days! :)
