Bill was again kind enough to put together a game of GASLIGHT for our gaming group.
This time a British expeditionary force was looking for the remains of a lost temple they had heard rumors about. However, those that worshiped at the temple were not very happy to see these invaders.
A group of treasure hunters (having also heard the rumors) took it upon themselves to do a little "exploring" as well.
Much carnage and mayhem ensued and a great time was had by all.

As I posted elsewhere:
Intrepid Sean and his gaming blog:

More than simple pictures, but a bit less than an AAR, I was hoping to write up a bit more, myself. However, as I had to leave before end of game, I'd be a poor reporter. So, I'll be a quick retorter:
"Leading from the rear. Typical British command."
Bit unfair to the good Professor Crumbottom, the scientific expert, I must say. As, upon realizing the apes had a rudimentary language and therefore intelligence, he did everything to stop the fight, trying to reason with the brutes, and ordering the rifles to break off fire. Unfortunately AND fortunately, deaf ears all around.
"Add caption" The great grey-green greasy... *ahem* great green empty space should have been occupied by the first line of 'The Queens own Randistanian Rifles' whose firing line advance to the lower left, then stood slack-jawed as the ponderous war apes (moved last one turn, first the next) charged.
I will say, the lads did rather well all things considered. Great White Hunter was useless at this point, though.
"The Brits marvel at the Cavemen and Apemen attacking each other." Too right! 'Let's you and him fight!'
I'm sure Sir Randall will pipe in at some point; I was a bit focused on my corner of the table, as is obvious.
Likewise, understand the images need some ordering. Sean had been unmercifully pestered into getting on the web.

As to the ordering of the pictures, they are posted in the order they were taken. Since it isn't really an AAR, I didn't feel that the picture order mattered all that much.
I should have taken some notes during the game. There was so much going on, I didn't really get enough detail on the parts of the field I wasn't included in to write up an AAR. That, and I'm not really all that good of a writer. Maybe next time.

Great & fun looking game!!!!

Thanks to all who played. I had a great time running the game. Can anyone guess who the mysterious temple dwellers were?

Sorry, I think I mistook a few as to when they actually were; as for note taking, we all could have. As the man said, thanks for sharing!

Looked to me like everyone, including the newcomer, felt likewise.
And, the piccie was dark, but I don't think it was THAT dark. ;)
