Brilliant ANPU, they have turned out great. :-* :-*

Are you using 1/43 models, or cheap toys for the cars? The interceptor looks like the real thing! 8)

I almost picked up a box of WGF Indians for that very reason last weekend. Sadly all my monies went on rubber/resin instead. ;) any tips you have discovered with using the Indians for war boys? (Do you need survivors arms?)

The steering wheel boy looks awesome. 8) 8)

Cheers
Matt.

Looking very good indeed.

Those resin wheels look super too, where oh where did you get such neat wheels at a good price?  ;)

Awesome! I'm working on very similar figs right now using those same kits. :-)

Sweet cars and raiders all! Will that beetle(?) be getting a post-apoc makeover, or was it just there for scale?

Will that beetle(?)...

I think that's a BMW Isetta 300 bubble car.

Indeed it is. Perhaps just a bit more rust but it is a fun contrast to the other end of the spectrum of car madness.
Thanks for all the comments.
I mostly use 1:43 and 1:48 diecast cars a few plastic kits and some cheap toys in the pipeline.
Love the resin wheels Phil.

Absolutely, I'd love to find one in HW scale. The first "car" my old man had was a Heinkel Kabine, which handles like a bowling ball when there's ice on the ground. He discovered this unique ability during the big freeze of '62-'63 and sold what was left of it shortly after.

Love the resin wheels Phil.

Good, I was thinking of making a new set with armoured hubs on them... what do you reckon?

I use survivor arms with weapons mostly. The exploding spears mainly use indan arms drilled out to insert plastic rod. The resin wheels are sold by 6milphil.
I got a few resin junktrucks from Pardulon as well waiting to be built.

Some more mobile phone pictures. We are swapping the bedroom and the workspace at the moment so everything is a mess and I cannot get my camera for better pics.
1:43 Interceptor and Ford Landau. Matt varnish and then weathering powders. Need a slight wash on metal parts.

Fuckin' aces. Best Fury Road project I've seen in a while. That Hasslefree Mad Max is brand new, isn't it? And which Hasslefree figure is that Furiosa? I didn't think he had one made yet - did you do some conversion work?

Thanks!  :o I would not have gotten half this far without 6milphil's resin wheels and engines.
They are both new Foxtrot as she is called is about a week older than Max. LinkyFoxtrot (http://hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=resin-master-%252d-foxtrot~hfmaster-a157&category=modern-%26%0D%0Apost%252dapoc~*new-moderns*) No conversion work needed.

Mini how too for using scenic rust for the Buzzard vehicles
First mix the metallic powder with the binding agent. Then paint all surfaces you want rusted with the mixture.
Then apply the rusting agent with a brush or by spraying it with an old pump spray bottle.
Let it develop for at least 8 hours.

Base model or a war rig.

No set rules yet but I was planning to use Pulp Alley.

Ah pulp alley...

I have had one romp with the vehicle rules. 2 laps of a circle, 2 sedans with no vehicle mounted weapons.

What I noticed
Pedestrians who get hit by cars loose a wound/go squish - very good  >:D
Cars can go bump and push each other around - it's nice to survive a few scrapes before going boom.
Overtaking is a little hard, once infront you sort of stay there - but good for "chase" sequences, requiring some tricky driving from the rear car to overtake
Hand weapons are hard to target/dont do too much, but you can get lucky.

I didnt experiment with the brawling/hanging onto a car in a chase, but it looks very Mad Max esque.
I like you can customise your ride with armour/weapons as your league develops/progresses.

I certainly plan on playing with it a bit more. Especially as "one" ruleset covers skirmish action and vehicles.

I'd be interested in talking further/reading your bat reps.  8)

Cheers
Matt

Thanks the First three minis are Dark age,  the second pale one based on Brom artwork will be the Allfather a leader of an offshoot/precursor sect to the warboys. The other two will be gang bosses and the third will be the brute of another ravager gang.

Thanks!

I will try to get some pictures later. The suspension is very simple. Plasticrod wrapped with wire to create springs. More plastic rod for the steering. ..
