So a friend tricked me into getting into some scifi a while back... ;D
Seeing that I have started to paint up a few figures, I thought it was time to have an organized place to put them. First up is the lovely space merchant from the recent Colony 87 Kickstarter, Pash Grolin.
I wrote him a bit of background:
Whether you need ammunition or medication, stimpacks or recaff, if there is anyone in the galaxy who can get it for you, Pash is your man. A merchant without equal, he is loyal only to money. If you can offer him enough, there is very little he cannot accomplish. He is characterized by his trademark white suit which, despite his willingness to go anywhere to make a deal, always seems to remain clean. Mostly. He always carries his most popular items on his person, never one to pass up a quick buck. He also takes his respirator constantly, ever since the incident with the airlock on the star cruiser "Nemesis". So whatever you seek, feel free to ask Pash. Just be quick about it, or he will find another buyer!

This was a great figure to paint, I really like the idea of adding civilians and NPC figures to games... makes for better storytelling!
There are a few more pics on my blog and some details on the basing if you are interested. You can find it here (http://mylifeinmm.blogspot.ca/2015/07/colony-87-interstellar-trader.html).

Lovely! I like how that one looks!

Good paintjob with some tricky colours! Love the clean and bright yellows and whites.
The more I see these painted up, the more I curse myself for not getting a set!
-
Really lovely, great basework too

Looks great! He's got a slightly sinister look with the white outfit...a bit like a cult preacher perhaps!

Great job. Especially good white and yellow (I struggle with both, so admire what you've done here).

Thanks! He was fun to paint. First, I primed with vallejo grey primer, which is very bright, almost off-white. The white was done using the foundry white triad, and the yellow was done with the foundry ochre triad and then washed with GW yellow wash. I finished with vallejo matte varnish. I think the camera almost brightened the yellow a bit, to be honest, but I think it looks pretty good in person.

It has been a while since I got much painted, but I did paint up this oldie goldie this week:

Lots of fun and character in this guy. I love the chainsword, but I keep wondering if it is supposed to be a chainsword/pistol combo or not. Any thoughts?
A few more pics are on my blog (http://mylifeinmm.blogspot.ca/2015/11/just-ork.html).

Enormously charming and lovely! I believe it's just a chainsword, but I'll have another look at my mini to check :)
