So I've kicked off my project to do Operation Iraqi Freedom in 28mm and have made some great progress in ordering stuff and initial assemble/priming. I'll be starting to paint stuff soon as I settle on the colours I'll use, but I figured I would share my approach to the project for figures and terrain sources: http://jayswargamingmadness.blogspot.com/2015/07/so-you-want-to-play-28mm-modern.html (http://jayswargamingmadness.blogspot.com/2015/07/so-you-want-to-play-28mm-modern.html)
I hope you find it useful, I've covered what I'm doing to cover USMC, Iraqi Army/Republican Guard and the Insurgents/Fedayeen fighters.
Regards,
Jay

It looks like you are all set up to start painting.
Love what you have in figures and armour.
I have a lot of the same stuff.
I hope someday to get it painted.
Just too many irons in the fire.
(Maybe when I retire, in about 8 months) ;D
I will be following your progress.

Great stuff, I was also looking at doing the conflict in 28mm but was stumped when it came to Iraqis so this really helped, cheers!

I thought Chieftain Miniatures was defunct. Are they making to order?

Website is still live but never heard back from them so I think you are correct in that they are now defunct.
