Finished my Mutatawwi'a warband's opponents the Templar Knights yesterday and took some pictures this morning. The minis are almost all from Fireforge Games and they look great. Had some problems along the way, but they were my own fault - more information and pictures on my blog:

Are those crosses transfers or are they the real hand-painted deal? I like them! I did a Teutonic Knight retinue just because they were different than Templars, as I felt they were over done. What drew you to Templars?

Nice work.
They'll look great on the table.

They are transfers, like I wrote on my blog both from LBM and Battleflag. The Battleflag ones are IMO a waste of money and I would rather have gotten two sets from LBM.
I have always had a thing for Templars and this was a superb occasion to get some.

You and me both, friend, you and me both... lol
Am just assembling some Fireforge Templar Infantry models, firstly to use for Frostgrave, secondly as the start of a C&C warband.
Quite a handsome force - did you omit the black surcoats for sarjeants for a higher degree of uniformity?

Yes I did. I was unsure of whether it was something which was actually followed. It also allows me to take a few of the Hearthguards and put towards mounted warriors. I basically wanted them to be flexible.

Understandable choice.
I see on your blog that you have noticed that some of the infantry bodies are meant to go with crossbows - is it the Templar Infantry set? I haven't examined the sarjeants closely, and I am at Work right now, but what should I look out for?
