Perhaps a silly question, but I can't really tell. I assume the Illusionist is female from the artwork in the rulebook, but I can't really tell from the photographs I've seen of the miniature. lol

Touché. I had initially thought that the Illusionist was some flashy dude (well, flashy in the sense that he didn't have tattered robes like the other wizards) until I downloaded the rulebook. On page 61, it seems that the Illusionist in the artwork is female.

Is not up to you or any of us to place judgment on whether they identify as male or female...its what ever they wanna be....not how they were born...

I believe it was intended to be female, the figure is wrapped in a big coat though so is rather androgynous.

Some of the best wizards (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0223.html) are gender ambiguous. :D
