Title: Minimi Miniatures selling Pirate Ships shut down ?

Hello,
I have placed an order last April for a couple of Pirate ships to Minimi Miniatures.
I already have three models from their excellent range.
I got a reply in May saying that they were almost ready, then nothing.
I have written a couple times to its owner, Lewis Davis, but had no answer.
Does anybody know if he closed this very nice an productive activity?

I haven't heard anything.. it's possible real-life has intervened somewhere along the line.

I could have a go at phoning them if it would be helpful?



(I seriously think wargames manufacturers should "buddy up" into pairs or triples who keep an eye on each other and if life gets complicated can at least let the world know...)

yes please, it would be good to know what is happening. His models are so nice,
some of them are unique. I believe it would be helpful to the whole community. Many thanks.

My mate knows him although haven't spoken with him for a good few months, I know he did have personal issues but that was a good 34-6 months ago so may be old news
