Title: Not seeing my posts initially
Post by: Darkson71 on 18 August 2015, 05:57:18 AM
I might have changed a setting by mistake, but when I post a reply to a thread, rather than going back to the thread in question I'm taken back to the sub-forum I was in (Frostgrave).

[Edit] The same happened with this post, so it's not sub-forum specific.

Odd things can happen. If a more specific solution isn't forthcoming, try clearing your cookies for the site, which normally fixes stuff.

That happens to me since I registered. Thought it to be specific to the board-software. Never really thought about.
If need be, I go back 2 times via browser, press F5 or refresh ... that does it.

Is this different with other and NOT ment to be that way?

Hi,

if you go to your "Profile" (link found on top of each forum page), then select "Look and Layout Preferences" and make sure the box next to "Return to topics after posting by default" is checked; this should be the default setting, so I don't quite see why it is inactive for your accounts.

Thanks Chris, hopefully that's fixed it.

[Edit] Yep.  :D

Well, it should actually be the default setting, so I wonder why it wasn't for your accounts.
