Anyone using them for Cold War gaming?
Also, curious to see if people have come up with their own "house rules" mods for certain things, e.g. firing at vehicles that are on the move, vs. halted?
The QRS has modifiers for vehicles that fire on the move, without stabilization, or with it, but I don't see any modifiers for non-moving, and/or moving targets (other than a +2 modifier To-Hit for vehicles snorkeling, or swimming in water).
In the files section of the Tank Wreck Yahoo Group, I do see info and stats for vehicles from various nations.
Sadly, with the new Yahoo "upgrade", doing any type of message searches for more info is pretty much futile, sadly.
So, any info on the above, and/or other thoughts about the rules, etc. will be greatly appreciated.
They look like a decent option for quick playing games.

I rather like the concept but frankly found the lists rather biased to say the least. Matching NATO or Israeli Tank heavy Brigades vs Russian/WarPact/Arab Motor Rifle units seemed to give particularly 'loaded' scenario options.

I'll have to look them over a bit, though to be fair, Western armor is generally superior to that made in Russia/Ukraine/Soviet Union.
To make up for that, they outnumbered NATO by anywhere from 3:1 to 10:1, depending upon the time period, theater, etc..
The above also applies to men, artillery, aircraft, etc., as well.
Only during the Early to Mid-1980s did the US and NATO finally begin to really ramp up their numbers and quality. Prior to that, it is generally believed that the Soviets/Warsaw Pact held the edge, if the Cold War was to go hot.
