Title: Advice for French Napoleonic Artillery Train Miniatures - 28mm
Post by: gustav on 28 August 2015, 08:06:35 AM
As per title I have looking for some French Napoleonic Artillery Train / Baggage miniatures in 28mm.
Preferably for the 1807-1812 period in the Peninsular.

Have looked at Front Rank and Perry, anyone got any other suggestions before I order from from them ?

Try Westfalia, maybe useful:

Bonjour,

I've got a number of Front Rank and Perry limbers and caissons and one from Westfalia.

The Front Rank ones are easy to paint and very robust.

The Perry ones are beautifully animated but the horses have delicate legs.

The Westfalia limber is absolutely beautiful but one of the riders is mounting-up and I don't really want a whole battery like that so I'm hoping that they'll produce an alternative who is astride the horse which you can specify instead or order as well - please Kawe!

Cheers,

Paul

Bonjour Paul,

Just ask Kawe for a second seated driver. I'm sure he is more than willing to help out.

Hi Helen,

Why didn't I think of that?!

I shall do so.

Thanks,
