Title: Painting my Phantom Ace Minis...After a bit of a touch up! (Still not perfect!)

Here's my ongoing attempts at painting the Phantom Ace and his mates.

Plus Gorilla Grodd heroclix and superapes re-purposed.

It always amazes me how bad my eyesight has become! When I zoomed in on these piccies and saw the bits I missed???
I new I hadn't quite done with them, but I didn't realise I'd have to go back to some of the bits I thought I'd finished??

Oh Well! Time for the more powerful goggles I suppose!

They are looking. I know what you mean about the camera, I find exactly the same thing.

I really like the bases. What sort of campaign are you going to be running with these guys?

The bases are very simple to do. Just Glue in your figure and then cover the bases in cut up address labels, painted grey dry brushed and use a black ball point pen to draw paving.

I really don't know what to do with the Apes other than whatever the whim takes me. (Just know that I need more! lol)

I tend to use this basing system so that I can fit them into "My Secret Base layout!" See it somewhere in the Future Wars setion of this site?

Just got into the habit of doing them this way!

Malcy - i thought they looked good before.  i thought mak had an earring which was nice rougish touch IMHO.  i was looking for a small braclet clasp for mine.

You know Pete? Those Bionic eyes may be a good idea for me! ;)

I hadn't actually noticed that glint on his ear! :o

I may have to give him a Gold Earing now! 8)
