Miniature samurai swords were found on eBay. The flower ( looks a bit like the Japanese crest) was found in the jewelry making dept at craft store ( Beverlys )

Aluminum foil just pressed against item until detail show and then cut the foil out.
Be careful it is very delicate at this point.

Once dried it's stronger and will hold it's shape. You can use a sharp X-Acto knife at this point and cut out any trim
Let me know if you have any question or better suggestions
Thanks!

Great idea. It got me thinking about using mini-jewellery flowers. Or possibly moulding some decorations with some of those hot-water acrylic mould things that I'm sure I've got lying around somewhere.

Here's something else I found that seems to work for rivets.
Found a sheet of these at a Japanese discount store( Daiso)
Pack was $1.50
Im pulling from the backing and re-gluing.
Here's a sample

Good idea! Michael's Craft shop probably has appropriate but overpriced items too.

Nice one, another great idea. I now know more about nail art than I ever thought I would. :)

Could probably find quite a few looking at the buttons isle at craft stores or even the ones Walmart tends to stock.

It has those stick-on studs. The prices aren't hideous.
