Judging by their site alone, the roofing material can be purchased separately. They also do tiles. Vertical planking is not unknown in any number of regional architectural styles. I have to say I'm quite tempted by a couple of their kits.

Roofing types varied in Central Europe and could include planking, wood or terracotta shingles, thatch, and tin. With regards to vertical planking, there were no hard and fast styles horizontal was common, vterical and horizontal seen together along with just vertical..in more remote areas log cabins. In one of the pics below yku can see the ornsmentsl corner boards.
it is nice to see variety in the range of buildings that can be used to game Central and Eastern Front theatres. The buildings in the range are very reasonably priced.
