Has anyone downloaded the PDF for the new rules.
I just bought the hardcopy of the rules.
When I tried to download the free PDF McAfee flagged it as having a virus/spyware/ malware problem.
Thought i'd ask around before trying again.
Thanks,
Tim

I received the PDF from the KS, and had no problems opening it.

McAfee sucks...I've always had problems with that virus scanner.
The pdf works perfectly.
-
No, no problems here either, using safari and I've run virus checks regularly
Nothing flagged
I think it's mcafee being overly sensitive

Just use Panda Security...;)
Here no problems either. Both on my personal computer and my (ahem) work computer... :-X

Thanks to all of you.
Gonna give it a try.
While I don't think McAfee sucks I do agree it tends to be over-cautious. ;)

Some things can;t be unread...

Well, I downloaded it, unpacked it, and opened it up.
And my machine didn't explode.
All's well with the world (aside from some pesky lurkers).

The pdf works perfectly fine for me as well. And Avira has no problem with it.

Can you buy 2nd edition now? as non kickstarter person?
-
Yes, that's what I did.
If you buy the hardcopy version you immediately get the PDF free.
-
where are they selling it?
-
McAfee has a tendency to flag documents containing unspeakable horrific horrible secrets.
-
No, actually McAafee does suck. It tends to flag items it cannot id. That can be more than with other software.
Norton360 is about the best bet on the market for a reasonable price IMHO.
