Dont know if this has been posted yet so sorry if it has, but looks like Northstar are releasing some ming and korean minis for Ronin
-
Oh my, you have my attention
-
I cannot wait to see the others and will more than likely pick them all up but I must say this one does not exactly blow me away. How big is that helmet?
-
Nice so far!
-
I could have fun painting this figure. I couldn't find any mention of them on the Northstar site. I'll just have to keep checking in I suppose.
-
On facebook it says coming soon
-
How do they match size wise with Perry?

The other Northstar figures fit perfectly with Perry

I'd like to see him as part of an exotic gang of treasure hunters visiting Felstad.

Saw a photo of the metals this week - they are looking good.
There are some others in the works as well...
cheers

There won't be enough choice to make any decent sized forces though :(

since Northstar and Perry also fit to AssaultGroup, that might be an option, too.
However, I don't know if the minis from AssaultGroup are historically correct. To me they just look good, and that includes the Chinese.

Don't worry about that James. I am working on a substantial range of Ming to fit in with the Perry ranges. ;)

All I will say is that from a cinematic/fantasy point of view, that figure looks very stylish. I want it.

Waôwww : Ming & Koreans ! Very interesting !
For a big range , may i suggest the Killer Katana II 's supplement about the japanese invasion of Korea !?
(Lot of drawings , very useful)
And the Hehon Taïkoki :

Fingers crossed for late period historically accurate ming.
