It's been long since I do hobby-related things and even longer since I actuallly painted something, but when I first heard of Frostgrave I could not resist. I always loved th concept of Mordheim-like skirmish games, but I was too late to get on board for Mordheim (GW having axed most of the range, and so Frostgrave was just the thing I'd been looking for. Added to that, I really like most of the miniatures North Star has been producing for the game so far. The blogs I've seen here are alos very inspiring, lots of great stuff being made.
So, to dive in and to (hopefully) keep me motivated to paint stuff, I wanted to set up a blog. Here's the first member soldier I've painted (please excuse the mediocre picture quality): a man-at-arms. He's not even close to what I've seen from others here, but I'm more or less happy with him...

Looks good to me. Picking up the brush after a long break always takes a while to shake the rust off. Looking forward to seeing more.

Awesome! Wonderful start. If you happen to live near Heerhugowaard (probably not, but worth a shot), some of us at our club have already been investing into Frostgrave, and it would be wonderful to have another player to fight against, once we have our stuff done.
