I've been busily collecting and painting in anticipation of the 2nd edition of Strange Aeons, and now it's finally here! This will be my first Threshold team; from left to right, Professor Bookbinder (agent), Angus Hemingway (character) and Lucy Smith (agent).

Nice paint work across the board and very characterful models. Who made them? Bookbinder looks like a perfect academic/egghead.

Thanks! They're all from Artizan's Thrilling Tales range, a great selection of pulp style figures. I've got some Bob Murch cultists (that I normally use for Pulp Alley) as well, but I've still to stock up on the more monstrous lurkers...

Brilliant! Especially the Prof!

Poor old Professor Bookbinder didn't even make it through his third game: here he is, moments before he was torn apart by a Formless Thing...

Agent Lucy Smith is in a terrible state as well, but a least she's soldiering on - for now.

After the horrific death of Professor Bookbinder, my Threshold team has found a new recruit:

This is Caspar Steele, a civilian. Although sceptical of his teammates' wild claims about inter dimensional beings and fearsome monsters, Caspar's wife recently went missing on a camping trip in the mountains, where she was abducted by strange creatures that couldn't possibly be human ... Grieving for his loss, Caspar has found himself attached to the team, determined to find some answers or die in the attempt!
Meanwhile, Lucy Smith's injuries grow ever more grievous, leaving her permanently weakened and increasingly unreliable in combat ...
