Title: Cultists role n the new campaign?
Post by: crancko on 11 October 2015, 09:01:37 PM
Anyone can tell what the cultist will do in the new game? Are they going to be groups of enemies controlled by the system or are they minis controlled by players?

Both I would say, as cultists of the lich lord and as alternative henchmen for liche/'evil' looking warbands.

The cultist frame and the henchman frame are compatible.

Both from what I've read.

You can use them as part of your warband for a more evil look.
Cultists will also be used in some scenarios. (Enemies or wandering foes?)

If you visit the NickStarter page (http://nstarmagazine.com/FROSTGRAVE_LICH_LORD.htm) and click on the photos of the new figures a window pops up with a larger picture and some text giving more info about them.

For example,

Quote
Frostgrave Cultists. Cultists feature in Thaw of the Lich Lord as opponents in the scenarios and as random encounters. They should also be used as the soldiers for Warbands of evil wizards, especially ones who’ve embraced Lichdom.
