Title: The Dice Gods were Displeased

Friday night ran a 4 player Frostgrave game, all with freshly made wizards. Museum Scenario, 12 Treasures on the board.

My new Illusionist and Apprentice manage to successfully cast a grand total of 3 spells the entire night. 2 Teleports, that got them into danger, and a single push, that pushed one of my thieves, and his treasure, out of harms way to the boards edge.

One of the players bailed, with 3 treasures, and I'm in prime position to Teleport to safety, with both my Wizard and Apprentice, each with their own treasure. The Apprentice, already wounded, rolls a 1 to cast Teleport, takes five damage, and then is Bone Daggered into a dirt nap. Later that turn the Wizard, rolls a 1 while in combat with a thug, who rolls a natural 20, and the Wizard joins him for a nap.

After the battle, well at least I got a single treasure, and 30XP from spell casting.

Oh wait... roll for injury, and the wizard gets a 1.  :'(

Time for a new Wizard

Sounds like a cursed dice to me. Either that or you need to train your dice lice properly.
