Could I ask for any info links illustrations about Irish troops and uniforms during the Great Rebellion,
I Need info on hats and breaches, hats seem to lean towards Scots type bonnets need colour clarification and the trousers seem to be like a long pair of tights.
thanks Mike

A mix of drab bonnets is what i would say rather than just blue. Drab for all of the uniform colours really.
If you do a search on google you will find alot of stuff under Montrose Irish you will find some superb stuff painted by others in the hobby.
I also do some flags for period if needed :P

Drab it is, just curious about the bonnet were they only produced in blue? was that the only available colour weave?
