Title: Andreas Paint Sets- Base Colour Equivelents?
Post by: Atheling on 29 October 2015, 10:17:26 PM
Hi,

I'm the happy owner of the black and white Andreas paint sets which have come in very useful both being used in a different manner than  suggested by the Andrea 'How To' booklet.

I'm running very low of the Base Black (darkest shade) and the Base White (again, darkest shade) and need replacements.

I assume that Andrea Flat Black would be a good replacement for the black from the set?

What about the dark shade of 'white'? Has anyone got any idea of what I could use as a substitute when it runs out? Preferably and Andrea colour? Is Confederate Grey a good choice for a substitute for example?

Thanks,
Darrell.

I presume Andrea sells well as a paint range, but I don't see many 6-28mm painters using them (except the competition painters). Therefore, I'm not sure if LAF will be able to help you if you need an answer reasonably soon.  :?

My advice for a faster and more definitive response would be to either contact Andrea directly, or perhaps ask somewhere like Massive Voodoo where I know folks like Roman Lappat are bound to have the answer. :)
