To fill the distinct lack of technologically inclined ape models, I pleased to announce the release of three different apes in the Warfactory range. These are available here from Lancer miniatures

There are also five new cultist poses, with more of both on the way.

Heh, I can see Cheetor getting one of these! :)

These came out about a month ago. Nice figures and decent pricing. I do like them.

Lovely figures, and very nicely priced. I can't think of any context in which I'll use them, and yet I really want some all the same - isn't that always the way!
-
Brilliant! :D

not-Jokaero?

Thanks for positive feedback. They could certainly be used as Jokaero proxies. Not really suitable for an army, but more some sort of sci-fi skirmish side plot. I'm intending to do some more carrying a bit more tech with maybe some bionics.

Didn't they have a faction all their own in Rogue Trader? This is the sort of thing we need more of!
I'm sure I could come up with plenty of good uses for "just" these three, though.

Don't recall well, but I was under the impression Jokaero were VERY rare in RT. Either prized possession of some Merchant Prince, or object to be sought for weapons-making phenom they were...
To the Google-pole! (Curse the lack of my game library at work!)

Actually, I'm just going by second-hand knowledge. I may have misinterpreted what I was told once. Never mind me :)

And I memories to the dark ages. ;)
They had space ships, were incredibly techno-savvy and STILL debated as to intelligent or merely instinctive techno-builders. However, they were difficult to keep, inventing something to release themselves if in the mood, but could be found with Inquisitors.
If in an Imperial group, they could be annoying 'fiddling' with stuff, but tended to either make an object more aesthetically satisfying to the 'ape', or improved to god-like powers.
Still don't think of them as an 'army.'

They look great, but almost £6 shipping to EU for £6 cost of figures...... :o
