Title: Stupid question

Ok my archers rolled an injury cousing him to mis 1 game... can i put him in the vault so to speak? So i hire a new archer to replace him for now... or does he still cover the spot on the soldier list... I think the last...

He still does cover one spot.
But, if I remember right, you are allways free to dismiss your soldiers.

Correct, and you can take any magic items off him before you dismiss him.

Yep and I'm fairly sure it was stated somewhere here that you could reclaim any magic item he had for the vault before dismissing him.
