Title: [KICKSTARTER] Panzerfäuste in last days!
Post by: rob_the_robgoblin on 05 November 2015, 07:25:48 AM
Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that Panzerfäuste is in the closing days of Kickstarter.

It's my personal project, I have left my job to run it and I have support from several strong-arms in the industry. I just need the support of a customer base; which Kickstarter will help build. Have a read and for nothing less, who doesn't want a Section or two of 'British' Orc Tommies and a Matilda Mk.1 War-Wyrm?! :D

They look nice, but I wait until they are in a shop to order. Kickstarter with you is a little bit to risky for me. >:(

@NurgleHH: Why with me personally? I'm nothing to do with Prodos anymore.

That's literally like saying anyone who worked at Games Workshop still acts like GW. The decisions made at Prodos are nothing to do with me. I was just the unfortunate sod that had to talk to the public for them and ultimately take the flak. :/

I don't mind, of course - just strikes me as a little odd.

I just realised that sounded really scorned.

Sorry! :D

I realise I have a lot to do in the realm of proving 'myself' instead of Prodos, so that is totally understandable. :)

Even though he's no longer under their spell, he still took time to answer my PM on the subject.  8)

And while the subject of fantasy world wars doesn't lift my skirt (and I've had it with crowdfunding for now), I wish him the best of luck !

Sorry, it is a little bit to easy to say "I only was a little sod...". You as the "little sod" advertising the kickstarter are one of the the reason I lost a lot of confidence. And you had the chance to tell all the backers the truth and not act in these delaying tactic. The result is, for me and I think for other, that I loose the confidence. So, make a good kickstarter, in time and be honest to the backers. So confidence in you will come back. (I still wait for the promised and paid stuff by prodos and they do not answer to emails!).

The pictures show great stuff, but I will wait until the backers tell us something.

Less than 72 hours to go.

Let's see where this ends up.

Good luck Rob and Steve - I for one am wishing you all the very best with this project.

Tony

To Westfalia Chris,

Sorry, I had no idea where to post Panzerfauste - so I've been posting info on Other Adventures.

I'll stick to this thread from now on.

No worries, Tony. A bit tricky, this one, but I'll happily have it on Weird Wars. It's more about the multiple threads (cf. rules on crowdfunding topics).

That's fine, wait and see. This project will run a little differently. ;)

Just so long as you are not relying on Prodos for any of the work. They are solely responsible for holding up fulfilment on at least 1 other successful kickstarter that I have backed (and that is not even their own).

Nah, I'm using them, but not relying on them.

They are supplying most of my 3D printing. I have alternatives lined up, and they are aware of that. They are doing fantastic work at the right price, though. TBH, without them - my project wouldn't be easy to achieve!

That said - my other print supplier is doing great work and continuing to surprise me.

Also, all of the casting is done in house. If there is any delay, that is only because of my ability/time/mental state! :D

Anyway, right now - we are doing weekly updates so that people know what we've been up to all week and what the plans are for the week ahead.
