Victory Force miniatures posted this on TMP--a half-squad of Weird War 2 night troops.

Ooooh... Shiny....

edit: I suppose you'd want a link to them, too. (http://www.victoryforce.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VFM&Product_Code=03451&Category_Code=newproducts)

Cool!  Now where are those Rumanian Vampires for them to hunt?

Aren't those scopes based on real German scopes during the war? Or did I just miss the joke here?

Yup, those look remarkably close to the Vampyr Biwa system... judging from that teeny-tiny pic...;)

The night sights are the 'real life' Vampyr system and the weapons depicted are also historically correct (although to the best of my knowledge the Vampyr system was only ever used on the MP44/StG44 assault rifle). These would certainly make useful vampire hunters or 'Berlin 1946' figures. Victory Force also do a couple of SS Nachtjager figures with StG44 and Vampyr sights in their historical WW2 German range.

From a report I read on one of the Yahoo groups, Victory Force figures are BIG - closer to North Star's WW2/Projekt X ranges than 28mm. On the basis of this I've just sent off an order for some samples to hopefully fill gaps in my North Star late war German platoon, as well as some French resistance to support my British commandos. One of the figures I sent for is a SS Nachtjager. I will post a report when I get the figures.
