Title: Whatever happened to Warriors of Antiquity?

This was the Mongoose/Victrix collaboration that was supposed to have come out earlier this year. I played a demo at Salute, and while it wasn't the best game I played, it seemed like a nice quick warband bash.

Mongoose do everything on the cheap. So their kickstarters take years to finalise, their products are over-priced, rules are usually shoddy and/or un-play tested, and they recycle stuff whenever they can.
Simple as that, really. Avoid like the plague.

Yeah, well, my career in the diplomatic corp never really took off, and I have had the misfortune of Mongoose taking on a couple of projects I really, really liked - and doing a cr*p job.
Example - their Rogue Trooper Kickstarter is 26 months behind schedule and about 75% finished. We're not talking legions of models either - only about 30 sculpts.

Must admit I got a tad excited when I heard Victrix were on with 'Warriors of Antiquity'. After getting your heads up... I'll not be holding my breath!
