I've finally painted my first miniatures for my Genestealer Cult warband (I should paint about 14 miniatures, for now).
Here the first two:
The Genestealer Cult Hierarch and a Hybrid:
-
Nice vibrant painting.
The bases are almost too oldschool, though lol
-
Where's the hierarch from?

Where's the hierarch from?
It's from a private commission.
-
I painted the first Genestealer purestrain, here the nice guy with the Hierarch and Hybrid.
What irony, I own these OOP miniatures (not the hierarch of course) from more than 13 years and just now I'm painting SOME of them ;)
-
The ogryn-hybrid bodyguard join the genestealer cult warband.
-
Awesome work. I thought these were very cool when they came out. Its a shame GW morphed the Genestealers into what they are today.
-
That hybrid-ogryn is awesome!
Congratulations,
;)

Really lovely and colourful. Thumbs up!
-
Great work, but that Ogryn Hybrid is something else! 8)
What mini did you base it on, or is a complete sculpt? I hope you don't mind me storing that idea for future reference... ;)
-
Outstanding project. Love the old school and bright colours. Superb.

The ogryn-hybrid is a new original sculpt, I bought it in a private commission on a facebook group ;)

Nice minis bud. Sadly from a private commission now oop?

Yes, now OOP.

After a long break (I was painting pulp miniatures and commissions) here my Genestealer Cult Magus and his familiar that will join my growing cult:
-
The cult is growing :D
Still 4 purestrain genestealers to paint and my genestealer cult should be complete... for now ;)
-
Another Purestrain Genestealer I painted for my growing Genestealer Cult. Still 3 genestealers and the Cult will be complete :)
-
Excellent, as all your projects are.
-
What a great project, your cult has an undeniable charm. :-*
-
Excellent. They look great.
-
Cool, those classic colours are pure love :-*
-
Lovely work.
Those bases...wow...you couldn't get more Old School unless they were on hex bases!
-
Thanks :D
Yes, the bright paint schemes and classic green bases give a pretty oldhammer look.
In fact, My idea was to to paint these vintage miniatures with an old school paint scheme.
Then the last Purestrain Genestealers, and my Cult is finally complete (for now, I still have 20+ hybrids and genestealers that need a good paint job)
"Now the Battle Cries ring out as the CULT marches forth to overthrow the FALSE rulers of the land! Down with the Imperium and all who serve it! Forward for the Patriarch! Long Live the BROOD!"
-
Great work on these, love the old school feel of them.
-
An Happy Family :D
-
That woman has really creepy face! :)
-
Very cool
-
I've done more genestealer hybrids for my Genestealer Cult warband.
I'm planning to split my previous warband, using the purestrain genestealers in a new warband with the patriarch as leader.
-
A Female Genestealer Magus is ready to lead her children.
-
awesome!
-
Nicely painted bud. Nice mini too.
-
Creepy family, excellent work.
Nice noise marine.
-
Everything is scaringly beautiful :)
-
Thanks :D
The Patriarch lead his purestrain children for the greater good of the Genestealer Cult.
-
It's not an oldhammer miniature and it's not in metal, however I could not resist to add her in my Genestealer Cult ;)
Here Kala Kerrigene, a powerful Hybrid Psyker.
-
Very cool.
Who makes her?
-
Starcrafty.
-
Very cool.
Who makes her?
Thanks :) It's from Grimskull Miniatures.

Love the old school vibe on these while still being a top notch paint job.
