Can anyone with these rules please advise me about the provided force list for the Ashanti.
Troop types and proportions
Weapons
Allied troops?
I don't necessarily want a copy of this list (unless it is really complex) just a simple: how many units, what grades and what weapons.
Thanks

I d,ont want you to think that nobody is answering. These rules are a Favorite of mine, although I hav,ent played them for over a year, my group seem to play a different set every month ! Can I take a little time to consult them and get back to you ? Have you tried the Search thread on this forum it may answer some questions.

Thanks, I would really appreciate it.
I have tried search here and on the wider net without any luck, infact finding much of anything on the Ashanti wars is difficult.
I was beginning to wonder if anyone still played these rules.

Its also worth remembering as a side note that Version 2 of the rules is going to be released sometime soonish or at least before the end of time (so that may change lists, etc)

I think or at least get the feeling that nick has set about to do a second reprint of the book. Perhaps he will have a the army lists as a PDF again?
Worth an e-mail one would have thought?
Darrell.

O.K. Found the PDF. : Untrained Skirmishers upgrade max 4 bases with elephant guns (8pts) rest with muskets 2-9 : Chief may upgrade to Lt. Horseman/ musket 54pts if Disc. or 39 if Org. : After 1895 Skirmishers max 2 bases may be untrained B/Loaders (8pts ) : Home terrain Forest. : Strategm Suprise. Does this help you any ? I could have e-mailed the list to you if I had it . Cheers Colin

Thanks Colin, that does help a bit. Is there any option for Allied troops?
I am thinking of the subject/slave troops that would not be part of the Ashantee village musters. Would there be units of traditional native spear armed troops fighting alongside the musket armed warriors.
@Wookington/Atheling: Thanks but I have settled on T&T for game rules so am not particularly looking for DiaDC itself. My doubt is whether I have to convert every native figure into an Ashantee skirted warrior or can I use generic jungle natives as they are?
