Title: 28mm Wars of the Roses figure ID

Hi there, can anyone please assist in identifying this figure?  I assume I bought him recently but no idea where from.

He probably nearer tudor/italian wars than war of the roses and he's a foundry figure. He was given a way free with all orders for a while a couple of years back. Lovely figure.

Although I can't see detail of the armour that well in the picture it looks to be post 15th Century- but only just.

1500-1525- or thereabouts :)

I recall a similar figure being the give-away a couple of years ago, but I don't think it was this one. Not sure, though.

Definitely that guy, coincidentally I have him in front of me on my desk, as I type this.

Yep that's one of the Wargames Foundry giveaway figures. Dismounted Renaissance Gendarme. A bit late for WOTR though it's only really the head that dates it I suppose so you could do a head swap.

Many thanks all, I did order from Foundry about a year so back, he must have been in that pack.

Thanks also for the heads up about him being too late for the WOTR.
