Title: reaper miniatures
Post by: seydlitz on 01 December 2015, 10:41:49 PM
I have become interested in the rules of Of Gods and Mortals and I'm interested in collecting a force of Ancient Egyptian themed miniatures. Reaper Miniatures look good for these.

I'm interested to find out if the the varying prices reflect the varying sizes of the miniatures; obviously God figures should ideally be larger than foot soldiers (etc) to reflect their stature in the game

Has anyone got any suggestions or comments. I've read some threads on the subject, but there's no real comments about size - although apparently size doesn't matter lol

Reaper minis seem to be priced according to who the sculptor is, not size generally.

Reaper bones are made of rather cheap plastic, with a price to match, but if assembling a mummy horde, might be a good way to go.

I have quite a lot of the Reaper Bones minis.  The Tomb Guards are tall, measuring 30mm to the eye, they come in packs of 3 or 4.  That is generally the sze of most Reaper "human" minis.  Yes, you can assume that the more expensive Bones models are larger.

I can recommend the avatar of sokhar for a God figure. It's about 3 inches tall. I got a bones one for the princely sum of £2.85 - absolute bargain.
