Hey, everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any idea about Adeptus Arbites models or someone who sells something close to them. I've got a bunch of Bauhaus from the old Warzone game that I might just end up converting but making 20 power mauls is gonna take awhile.
I was gonna put together a Kill Team for them but I can't really find much.
They're basically Judge Dredd IN SPACE:

I think the ERM Corporate Wars Interpol troopers would make good Arbites. http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/interpol-87-c.asp
They're pretty plain, but nothing that some skulls and eagles slapped all over them couldn't cure

Of course you're still going to have to make some power mauls.
I'd recommend also looking at the Void 1.2 Junkers (Soctia Grendel) and the later Urban War Junkers legionaires (Urban Mammoth). Same concept but different levels of fine detail and style. Still have to make Power Mauls, but they've got similar styled armor, and helmets, shields, etc....

Maximini make power mauls

Why not just use the Judge Dread models. They are having a sale currently.

You can get two of the boxed sets for $48. Putting power mauls in their hands would be a snap.

Great suggestions. The new Urban War legionnaires look almost perfect, just a shame about the price. Well, after Christmas maybe.

These are great, man. Thanks.

I don't know. I just don't like the style, I guess. Too comic book-ish?

You could use GW IG scions and then use some 3rd party space cop heads and powermauls?

The figures are nice but pricey. They can be found easily enough in the second hand market.

I am pretty much using this idea with some Skitarii-vanguard heads.

And shotguns from the SM scout box set

Yeah, check around various retailers online. Urban war is one of those lines that often does poorly at some retailers and can sometimes be found cheaply on clearance or ebay.

There are of course the " official" Arbites models. No longer in production, but found on EBay all the time, albeit at fancy prices. Search for Necromunda. They are multiparty metals, with all the gear you want.
-
With rumors of specialist games returning next year, fingers crossed they'll bring back the Arbites and Enforcers.

I've used a plastic space marine scout with the vanguard head that commisarmoody mentions.

You can also just use Sallet helmets (Mirliton do some, White Knight here on LAF used to offer some, and there's some in the Empire Greatswords kit too).
Mated to SM plastic scouts, you get a bulky but reasonable Arbites.
Alternatively, the Judge Dredd models aren't too far off (although you'll have to be picky about which ones you get), and you can cut the arm/shoulders off to replace them with plastic Space Marine arms for the right look.

There are also VASA suppressors:

Or Junkers:

Which come in plastic too:

Adeptus Arbites were developed from the Citadel Judge Dredd line. GW wanted to make a Judge Dredd game, they ended up with the Arbites and Necromunda.

Wargames Foundry have put out these unreleased Warhammer 40,000 models, 2 of which are pretty much Arbites

Any ideas for other heads?

If you want the guys with power mauls then these seem to fit the bill:

Not sure what the sculpt quality is like tho. The pics are quite small.
