Title: Father Christmas
Post by: Park on December 14, 2015, 09:12:47 PM
Hi
after lurking a while I thought I would finally post something.
I'm from the north east and I've been painting and gaming for a fair few years. I seem to spend more time sticking things together and painting than actually gaming.

Right well to the actual topic.. With the big day rapidly approaching I was wondering is there anything special you have asked father Christmas for

Personally i've been a good boy and hopefully some sarissa precision kits will end up in my stocking

I'm hoping for some Studio Miniatures survivors and - if I'm lucky - some Sarissa stuff too! Fingers crossed.

That's a good point, but I suppose it's too late now.  My father, being a gamer/modeler (though we have varying interests/fields) normally hooks me up, but I didn't think to mention anything to them this year.  We'll see.  I did just buy myself a huge Christmas present myself though, so I suppose that'll do for now.

Antares miniatures, Aventine Elephant with Roman crew, and some War & Empire Early Angry Hairy Germans. I suppose I did my own Christmas list. Can you tell?  lol

Some nice sci-fi cars from Antenocities, some of which I don't even know their identity.
The ones that I do know about are great, but a surprise will be an added bonus.

Some ikea, including a Billy bookcase - oh the joy of storage and self assembly!

Or to put it another way - my better half wants me to tidy up my man space a bit.

But that's ok she is buying it!

and some other supprise stuff form a couple other people that I don't actually know what it is precisely other than 28mm and my vague area of interest!

I'm glad I'm not the only one to make a list (or drop massive unsubtle hints). My wife takes the proverbial for me doing so but I think it helps when you have such a specialised hobby.... and how else will the big fat man know what to get me
