Yep, dark and creepy. This sci-fi dugeon crawling seems to be a thing. Might be a good solo-gaming option too.

So long as you come up with a decent mechanic for the hostile denizens, solo games shouldn't be a problem.

Glad you like those boards. People seem to enjoy playing on them. Guess the grid makes movement and combat  much easier. Construction was actually simple and they've held up quite well over the years.
