So after finding the free cardstock buildings on this site http://www.davesgames.net/wfrp2/ (http://www.davesgames.net/wfrp2/) through one of the LAF threads I got inspired to build the lot! I'm to mounting the cardstock to foamcore walls and re-enforced the roofs/bases with matboard to help them stand up to serious use. My main concern though is whether or not the paper itself needs to be treated/varnished. I don't have much experiance with cardstock so any advise would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note I've got 20 of the 35 buildings finished and will try and get some pics up monday (wife is out of town with the camera, which is also the reason I have time for the project :) ).

In most cases, I don't think you need to treat the paper, unless you think your ink may rub off with handling. My Epson printer (now deceased :( ) used water-resistant inks so I never did anything else to the printouts. If you do decide to give them an overspray, I would recommend something like Grumbacher's Myston Workable Fixative. It's designed to be used with pastel, charcoal and pencil artwork so should work with inks. I'd still test it on some scrap, though, since I haven't tried it myself. I got a (recommended) can for use with pastel weathering on my Sierra West Backwoods Log Train, since it apparently does not dissolve the pastels.
