Been brain storming while I sit and try to sleep and I was thinking how well would the old Charlie company rules transfer over to the French Indochina war?
My copy of the rules are in storage at the moment, but has any one giving it a try?

Greg Novak used to run a smashing game set in Indochina using Charlie Company. It was great fun.

I bet he did, to bad that supplement never made it into print. lol

I can't see why not. I haven't played with them in years but they were a good set of rules that could be applied to many a post war/ modern setting. You would have to build your own TO&Es and any vehicle stats, if you want them and you would have to work out what you were going to do re the mix of bolt action rifles and SMGs. That is covered in the rules IIRC but given that both sides are in the same boat it might just be best to use the same firing stats and tinker with range or the SMGs or the odd modifier.
Happy memories and sadness at the passing of Mr Novak. Greg was a great contributor to the hobby.

I guess I will have to pull the rules out of storage and have a look about doing that then. Ether that or see in there is a Chain of Command mod for it already. Or maybe check out FNG.
