Whwre are they? don't see them!

[the first word is= where, I had to write it many times before I was able to correct it, so I left a most peculiar word]

Very nice. Is that the officer's bike leaning against the gate, ready for a quick escape should things turn nasty?

Those Ironclad figures are really very good indeed and your painting is top class! You've got the red coats just right. It can be a very tricky effect to achieve properly.

The mini-diorama display base is very good too. It's a good job the RSM isn't with them, or he'd have their guts for garters for the unsoldierlike way the bikes have been laid out  lol

Brilliant! As Gluteus said you've got the colours just right there. What did you use for  your red?

I think good bases finish off a figure nicely as you've done the very thing!

Now that's just silly. What you meant to say was a pedalling battle with a Sudanese whirling dervish penny farthing battalion.

Lovely painting and basing effects. Well done.

I meant that I need to see both units:
Swiss Mercenary Bicycle-mounted Mountain Naval Brigade
Sudanese whirling dervish penny farthing battalion

I have some problem. I need some pedalling units and still cannot configure how it can be converted. Any good ideas???

I did it with one of the Eureka Pax Limpopo pig tickler unicycle riders.
I removed the unicycle stand. Then attached him to a Penny Farthing by removing the saddle and handlebars part and substituting the figure in the gap.
Some greenstuff was required to make him a sturdy fit, but it worked out ok. Check out the photo here:

NO, not sure how easy it would be with one of those. the Penny Farthing i sperfect as its quite high up and there was plenty of room for the figure to fit in, the other bicycles maybe too close to the ground.

Why not email Nic at Eureka and ask if he might make some - or at least mounted legs (then perhaps you could add a torso of your choice).
He's a friendly enough cove.

that's a good idea. I made some different approach and put a special order to them. Now wait for the goods to come and see I will be able to manage something.

Actually I came up with another idea too, I emailed Nic at Eureka and sent him a link to this thread. He'd not encounted the LAF before.
