I stumbled across this text listing I created a few months back when I was building my Strange Aeons forces. I have gamed with minis for over 40 years, but had very, very little for this "era" and type of game, so I started looking (as usual) where I could find the figures the cheapest. I found quite a wide variety.
This list is not all-inclusive, nor perfect. This is just a lising of what, I, personally, thought might be some figures that would work with a Cthulhu based miniatures game.

I've recently received some of the Dungeon Dwellers line- Yithians, mi-go, elder thing. They are quite nice and the price was right at a few dollars each. Just basing and an ink wash touch up. Great stuff.

The Pathfinder Yithians are monsters!!! Freaking Huge models for the price!
The chaos beast is uncanny too- I have a friend who uses them for Shoggoths. Highly recommend any of the pathfinder-lovecraft!

Yep, I agree I have them and I think pics of them as well in my gallery here. I remember after I had my Yithian delivered I had to pull and re-read the old HPL story to convince myself they really are *that* big... Well, the description is far from clear and (of course) does not give exact height/weight, but from what remember of the text I was reading for clarification as to their size...they *were* descibed as being quite, quite large.

I've got my Yithians sitting in a box. They are so large (and their strange Aeons stats are so off) that I just don't use them- they are nearly unbelievable. :)
That and they don't pack well-
If I had to do it again I may have done monserous polyps or MiGo- I do like the "aliens/XFiles/XCom" theme found in strange Aeons and would like to do something in that theme with a "real alien." - the shot with the ping pong ball as the alien craft in the second edition rule book is great.

Ha! A Ping Pong ball would have been a great idea. It is, in fact, some sort of glowing, colour changing orb...which cosy me $12.95. Canadian dollars...but still, a ping pong ball would have been the clear choice, especially since we ended up photoing it with the light off anyway. o_o
