Title: Fireforge Teutonic Knights with Mirliton helmets?

I've been thinking about doing this since I'm not really a fan of the Fireforge helmets. I'm wondering if the Mirliton heads are the right size or not. If not I'll probably buy some more Curtey's, but dang are they expensive.

Helm is pictured here, if anyone has any experience doing a kit-bash like this.

EDIT: I was able to find a now 404'd comparison picture, interestingly enough from this very forum. The resolution is very very small though as only the thumbnail was cached by google and it basically renders the comparison useless. I'll PM the user who originally posted the picture and see if he still has a copy of it somewhere. If not I'd appreciate it if someone else has any comparison pics.

I've used Mirliton heads with Fireforge knights and I was happy with the results.

Thanks Verderer, I was just about to PM you thanking you too and I saw you posted it publicly! The helm looks like it would fit perfectly on the fireforge guys.

Out of curiosity, do Mirliton sell separate helmets?

If you mean individual helmets, not from what I can tell. They do sell batches of helmets. So for instance, the one I want contains the helmet I linked with 5 other types of helmets mixed in. There are 6 helmets types in the pack I want with 10 helmets in total. So 4 of the helmet types come in pairs and 2 of them come in singles.

Ah. That's what I wondered. Seemed a bit odd to buy a whole mounted knight just to nip the head off.  :D

Thanks for making me aware that Mirliton did separate heads...some of Curteys ones fit Fireforge knights, though some are too big... Therefore it is good to have different options... Does anybody know of a UK stockist of the Mirliton heads?
