When looking at that picture, my immediate thought was this caption: 'Adeptus Mechanicus exploration/mining ship enters a dense asteroid field.' ;)

Very nice. I've used that expanding foam stuff that builders use, with varying results. I think yours have come out much better. Where did you get your rocks?

Thy were laying on the ground in a vacant lot somewhere in western New York State. I got a couple pocketsfull and later went back for more.

Most DIY stores sell them in bags for a few dollars as ground cover, usually in the gardening section near the wood chips. You can use them as-is or give em a quick coat of paint and drybrush, fun stuff
