We played a rather entertaining game of Haggis (Lion) Rampant at the club Thursday gone. with the return of student James we decided to abandon for one week the campaign and go for a four player a side English vs Scots/Islemen bash.
Much fun was had by all- the rules always seem to produce a laugh as did the behaviour of one particular English player- please see the write up on Just Add Water Blog for more pics and military intelligence!:

There is also a selection of nice pics of Shaun's ACW collection in action for those who may be interested (Scroll down to bottom of page on blog).
A few of tasters:

The roads... ;D :'(
You see why strip roads are my pet hate...
I'm sure it didn't affect the game one bit, but the aesthetics, darling, dear God, the aesthetics.... ;)

If it's any comfort we're getting some new (none luminous!) battle mat type things soon- AGM at the end of the month.
I'm with you when it comes to terrain Richard- but it's bending the will of the rest of my group that is the problem :'(
Darrell.

Looks like a fun big game. Have to love the chaos of a player charging into his ally.
